Hot on the heels of the news, launching their first edition of the legendary CAMP GOOD TIMES in China in early 2016, we had a chance to talk to the elooa founders Heinz Löhle and Jens Anselsetter. Find out more about elooa and their significant expansion into the Chinese market.

Q: TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU DO.

A: As former pro riders we’re not only deeply rooted in the snowboard scene but were also able to collect tons of experience on trips and events all over the planet. Yet we’re still hunting for the best spots and most exciting destinations to live our passion. This is what we’d like to share with and together with professional competence and a worldwide network we guarantee absolutely unique experiences!

Q: WHAT DOES elooa MEAN?

A: When we started elooa we wanted to have a positive sounding name which is not directly connected to snowboarding. After looking at our initianls and a lot of brain storming elooa was born!

Q: WHAT DOES elooa STAND FOR?

A: Unique experiences!

Q: HOW MANY CAMPS DID YOU ALREADY HOLD?

A: We realize Camps since 2011. So we did more then 50 Camps all over the world!

Q: WHAT ARE THE TOP CAMP DESTINATIONS?

A: Our base is in Europe with around 20 Camps per year. Besides that our Top destinations are JAPAN, CANADA and USA.

Q: WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO LAUNCH elooa IN CHINA AND WHAT IS YOUR VISION FOR elooa IN CHINA?

A: Well, we work together with Nitro Snowboards for years and they give us the input. As I´ve been to China before for Snowboarding as a rider and I saw the potential of Snowboarding. I was directly in. With WANG LEI we found an authentic and 100% fitting Partner to realize it. I hope we can create a Camp Platform in China like we do in Europe and we also have the goal to bring Chinese Snowboarder to our other Destinations around the globe.

Q: WHERE CAN PEOPLE BOOK elooa CHINA CAMPS AND OTHER elooa CAMPS WITH WANG LEI?

A: At the Moment we partner with GoSki.cn for bookings, and we are planning to build a Chinese language website in the near future.

Q: WHICH PLACE IN CHINA WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT?

A: I have never been to the south of China. I would really like to check it out for surfing!

Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CHINESE FOOD?

A: Wang Lei is always taking care of that. He´s also my Chinese Food Guide. So far I love it all.
