JILIN BEIDAHU SKI RESORT

Jilin Beidahu Ski Resort was built in 1993. The total area covers 17.5 square kilometers. It is located at 126 ° east longitude and 43 ° north latitude, the golden latitude of some of the world’s best ski resorts. It is currently the highest ski resort in the country with annual top ranking snow conditions and boasts some of the longest ski runs. 

There are two main hotels, the Qiaoshan Beidahu Holiday Hotel (now managed and operated by Club Med), and the North American Time Resort Apartments. Beidahu is an international ski resort catering to  tourism, recreation, events and conferences.

TERRAIN FACILITIES:

Beidahu Ski Resort has a unique natural advantage.The hillsides are gentle, with few steep cliffs. The main peak is more than 1400 meters high with 8 more peaks above 1200 meters. 

Beidhau is covered by snow for 160 days out of a year. The snow fills about 1 meter by the foot of the mountain, 1.5 meters in the middle, and up to 2 meters on the peaks above 1000 meters. 

Mountains surround the resort on three sides, providing shelter and thus the winter wind is light and the climate doesn’t get too harsh.

A typical day at Beidahu resort during winter season includes a day on the hill followed by apres ski or a sap visit. During the summer months, visitors enjoy hiking, rock climbing, cycling and bonfires and BBQ’s once the sun has set.

NUMBER OF SLOPES: 

Beidahu Ski Resort offers 26 ski runs, with a total length of about 48 km. It also offers a 10 km ring-shaped cross country ski run, and a standard biathlon shooting range. It is suitable for hosting Biathlon, Nordic Combined, Cross-country skiing and many other events. It has a K90 meters and a K50 meters ski jumping venue, and an aerial skiing venue.

5 Alpine ski lifts, 1 anchor lift, 4 conveyor belts. Among them, there are 8 people high speed cable cars, 6 people high speed chair lifts, and 4 people chair lifts. 

 

NUMBER OF HOTELS + BED COUNT:

There are three apartment hotels, two 5-star hotels, three 4-star hotels. 

The daily accommodation capacity is 1,000 people.
